this story is so far out of what I can imagine that I just like watching it unfold.

the last line was magic…and almost mean. I read it three times, each time putting a different tone on those words..”tell her yourself’ because in my head it is spit out or whispered in anger. Something tells me it shouldn’t be, can you clarify???

Oh wow. Now I’m trying to figure out how Aemila got born and reached her father so he could tell her himself if her mother locked herself in the glade (obviously the glade she found back at the outset) before she was born!

The way you used the prompt to build suspense was really well done. Again, this story uses imagery so well, I always feel like I’m in another dimension reading it.
